Melinda Sue

Founder

Melinda has cultivated her tenure in the school of life. She has a passion for synthesizing higher truth, optimizing human potential, and supporting others to overcome their challenges and embody their gifts.

With a 25-year history in the health, wellness, and environmental fields, Melinda intimately understands the interconnection between the health of our bodies, our environment, and our mental, emotional and spiritual state of being. She has a BSE in Environmental Engineering with a focus on sustainable systems and green building. She is a lover of the Taoist water path and has studied with several qigong masters. She spent 15 years as a massage therapist and wellness coach and is a Gene Keys Guide and nature lover. With a strong collaborative nature, she co-created 2 retreat centers with a focus on holistic living and co-founded a botanical wellness company.

As a long-time student of metaphysics, she is dedicated to walking a path of deep awareness, expanded perspective, and personal integrity. Her journey is infused with light-hearted humor and a constant desire to spiral things up. She is ever enthusiastic about creating beautiful spaces, synergizing projects and groups, and inspiring others to their highest potential through playful engagement, deep listening, and at times comic relief. Moselle is her vision for a Way of Water™ experience that will nourish and uplift the women who find it and the communities they touch.

Janice Anne

For over 20 years, Janice has studied different types of healing & energetic modalities, having explored various styles of meditation, qigong, neigong & yoga. Since 2008, her focus has been learning root & alchemical practices of healing and self awakening from ancient traditions, specifically the Water Path practice called the KUNLUN System, directly with her teachers Mugen Roshi & Dao Shi of Primordial Alchemist. The Taoist Arts are her focal point for which most of her knowledge & wisdom stems from, cultivating & embodying practices of living simply and in deep connection to nature. This includes 14 years of learning the skillful art of tea making called Gongfu Tea (traditionally & alchemically).

Creative in nature, Janice has a background in art & music and attended Westfield State University in Massachusetts. She is a Nature Therapy Guide and a certified Mindful Outdoor Leader through the Kripula School. She maintains her studies and practices in meditation, qigong, natural medicine, Taoism & Shamanism. As an avid nature enthusiast, she loves hiking, kayaking, camping, traveling, solo adventuring & gardening.

Janice has a deep desire to help reconnect humans with nature. Her passion to bridge the two together can be experienced through her Meditation offerings, Nature Immersions, Tea Ceremonies and can be seen through the lens of her photography & videography and read within her storytelling/writing.

Dana Marie

Event Coordinator & Lead Chef

Chef Dana Marie has been a private chef for almost 20 years now, serving families and communities in Hawaii and all over the US. She has cultivated a well-respected and loved business and clientele and brings forth a Farm-to-Fork experience that reflects the land, the seasons, and the region’s finest organic farms and farmers. Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area (Marin County) in the 80s and 90s, Dana learned early on how some of today’s most iconic chefs have been at the forefront of cultivating the slow and organic food movement as a way to protect our natural resources, sustainability, health and wellness, and our ability to share and experience nourishment. Her culinary work draws from these important principles and values and is deeply intuitive, custom, creative, and prayerful. Dana brings many years of study and practice from varying spiritual traditions and lineages as well as being a long-time massage therapist and a certified Qi Gong teacher.

Chef Dana is known for her custom-curated events and for creating culinary adventures and experiences along with exquisite memories for her clients whether that be in the intimacy of the home or through the expansion of larger venues, events and retreats. Conversational dinner parties and intentional gatherings highlighting select farms, farmers, and their goods specific to the region, are some of what clients enjoy on a regular basis. Dana’s depth of experience and creativity with ingredients demonstrate nothing short of simple elegance.

WHAT IS GONGFU TEA?

“Gongfu Tea” means making tea with skill. A time honored tradition and practice that requires a certain level of effort, dedication, passion and humility by the person who is pouring the tea. After many years of practice, the tea master cultivates a deep connection to the tea leaves & tea ware. It is from this connection that the greatest gifts of the ritual and ceremony can be exchanged between the person pouring and those receiving.
