WATER THERAPY
Water based wellness therapies can do wonders for our immune systems and for our vitality and zest for life. There are a variety of ways to use water as a part of our self-care and healing routines. Check out our online courses which cover the basics or inquire to book a private session or participate in a group event.
Contrast Therapy
One form of water based therapy for health is called contrast therapy. It is alternating immersing the body, or a part of the body, in hot and then cold water. Contrast therapy is easily done at home in the bath or shower as part of a daily bathing routine. It stimulates the lymphatic system through expansion and contraction, which helps detox all the fluids in the body. It has an invigorating effect which uplifts mood as well.
Cold Water Therapy
Immersing the body or a part of the body in very cold water can help rebuild the immune system as well as a sense of robustness. A method gaining in popularity, thanks to Wim Hof, lovingly known as the Ice Man, cold water plunging is proving to be a very powerful method for healing and regaining a sense of clarity and purpose in life. At Moselle, we have first hand experience with its many benefits and love to share that with others.
natural Water Immersion
Going out into nature and immersing yourself in water is not only refreshing, it invigorates the body, mind & spirit. Natural waters such as streams, rivers, waterfalls, lakes and the ocean are imbued with negative ions that help restore balance and reduce inflammation. Similar to "Earthing", immersing in natures water on a regular basis can be an enjoyable part of a self-care or healing routine.
Water therapy sessions are available in person, on location, where guided water immersions are possible. Please inquire for more information and to learn about upcoming events or booking a private session.
Online Way of Water™ courses also include the basics of at home water therapy.
